Power BI

Hi Everyone


In a table I have fiscal year(2021-2024) and fiscal month colums,but i aslo need Calender month and year column .Need help in creating the calender month and year columns in the existing table

fiscal year 2021 - (october 2020-September 2021)

Fiscal year 2022 (october 2021-September 2022)

Fiscal Year 2023 (october 2022-September 2023)

Fiscal Year 2024(October2023 - September 2024)

Please help.

    Do you have date column in your table?

     

    How does the other columns looks like?

      I dont have a date column i my table,I have Fiscal year and Fiscal MOnth as teo seperate columns

    Hi Himaja95 ,

     

    Not sure your how your months looks like. but you can use following formule to calculate year

    Calendar Year = SWITCH([Fiscal Month],
                        "December",'Table'[Fiscal Year] - 1,
                        "November",'Table'[Fiscal Year] - 1,
                        "October",'Table'[Fiscal Year] - 1, 'Table'[Fiscal Year])
