Power BI with Azure SQL Data Warehouse
Actual message is "The user was not authorized"
parry2k Have you tried to manually edit the connection? You can go to File -> Options and Settings -> Data Source Settings and manually edit the connection.

Yes, I looked into that too, it allows me to add the whatever credentials I want and doesn't validate.
And if I go back to connec to Azure Data Warehouse, it comes with user dialogue box and will not continue becuase of user issue.
I'm not fully sure if editing the connection manually makes any difference. Thanks for the help thou.

parry2k The only other things I know to check would be that you are fully qualifying the server name, and that when you set your firewall settings that you ensure the rules for the database are configured to "Allow access to Azure services". - which you may have already done.
