Power BI visual vs Data Source values
Hi,
I have an excel storing in sharepoint as my data source to use in my Power BI report. Within the excel file, it performs calculation of summarization for some columns (eg. column A1:L1) in a 'Total' column. The 'Total' column in excel will round up decimal places (eg. $11.997 > $12.00)
When i load the excel data into Power BI and perform the visualization that values on the visual seems off. It should be $12.00 but the value become $13.00. This doesn't happened to all visual but only to certain bars in my column chart. I've checked it in Power Query and set the column data type to Fixed decimal but the issue still occured, it's causing the report not showing actual value.
Can anyone share some insight on this?

The values on some visuals are different than you expect. This may be related to the data type, calculation method, or formatting.
You can try these possible solutions:
1.Decimal place setting: In Power BI, you can manually set the decimal places for column charts.
2.Try using DAX functions. For example, you can use the ROUND function to ensure that a number is rounded to the number of decimal places you want. For example, ROUND(YourValue, 2) rounds a number to two decimal places.
If you haven't solved the problem yet, can you provide a sample that doesn't include privacy? I will try to give you further reply based on the sample
