Since then, I've also done a check by packaging the visual and attempting to load into June Desktop. You actually get a message in there that the API is not currently supported. I also get this in the Service with a packaged visual, so I'd guess that there is some kind of delay with deployment.
I'd suggest emailing the team ([email protected]) to get further info as to why it's not working, if you need the features in 4.6 (I'm personally happy to stay on 3.8 for now).
