Power BI to Essbase Beta Connector error

  when connecting from Power BI to Essbase Beta Conenctor, using the below url, it shows me the server but not conencting.  http://exly.maaden.com:19010/aps/XMLA Please see attached screen shot ...

Hi syedm ,

 

Please check whether you can log in Essbase database via this credential to make sure it is still valid.

      Hi syedm: Did you configure your Essbase to also use SSL?

      For me https://servername/aps/XMLA works without any problems.

       

      Another question would be why you called it "Beta Connector"? I thought it is not beta anymore? Did you download the newest version of MS Power BI desktop?
