Power BI to Dataverse Connection

Hi everyone,

I am new to Power BI and PowerApps, and I have been running into several issues. I tried connecting Power BI to Dataverse, and I was able to establish the connection. However, when I try to load the data from the enviroments, I get an error that says "Error occured while establishing a connection to SQL server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Anyone knows how to resolve this issue? Thank you so much!

Hi @Anonymous

Thanks for reaching out to us.

>> Error occured while establishing a connection to SQL server. The server was not found or was not accessible.

For this error, please refer to this article,  Fixed – Error – “Microsoft SQL: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server” – while trying to use Dataverse connector in Power BI – Nishant Rana's Weblog

Thank you for you repsonse @v-xiaotang.

I have tried the solution within the link you provided, however I am still unable to load the data.  Because connection to the enviroment have already been established, it doesn't even allow me to copy and paste the enviroment URL. I have also tried disconnectiong the connection estbalished, and tried connecting it again. It automatically directs me to sign in to my organization account, and which later loads all the folders to the enviroments. When I click on the enviroments, it doesn't load the tables. It gives me the following error.

"A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server"

Am I missing some kind of steps. I also have the TDS endpoint on.

Thank you again!
