    Good question. You can perhaps create a bookmark only for the table. Than they have to reset via a button the table. The ppl open the report, have their last slicer selections. And they reset with the button the matrix

    This approach worked the best, I think (waiting for user approval).

     

    I created a bookmark with the table selected.  I set the Data and Display, and Selected Visuals.  I tried to leave Data out and it didn't work.  I haven't experimented leaving Display off.

     

    The user can reset the order to the expected order by clicking a button that has the action to run the bookmark.
