Power BI shows wrong date tooltip for line chart

Hello, I just noticed today that the line bar with date axis showing incorrect date tooltip. The tooltip is auto/default. Does anybody experience this.   See screeshot, the date should be 12Sep, ...

Hi rubymaya ,

 

This is a known issue (ICM#: 260227233).  Engineers have identified root cause, and an estimated time to mitigate will be provided shortly. Please try the method mussaenda mentioned. It's a workaround currently.

 

I also find DataZoe has faced the same issue here.

This is a regression in the Chromium build, Bug# 1247858, and is impacting Edge and Chrome V93 web browsers.

 

For line charts, they use the scale to show a special tooltip, with a vertical indicator line, and this is not following the mouse correctly – at times, you cannot even get a tooltip for one edge of your chart.

 

Just as what posted on Power BI Support Page, as a workaround, users can use the zoom setting of anything other than 100% which forces the browser to behave normally.
