Hello,
I have an Applications table, linked to Contracts table on Candidate ID. The relationship should be many-to-one, there can be multiple applications, but only one Contract for that Candidate ID. Both are Excel spreadsheets. I've checked the spreadsheet over and over, there are no duplicates in Candidate ID on the Contracts spreadsheet. However, Power BI will only allow a many-to-many. I've read every post, I've tried everything here, https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/Can-t-establish-many-to-1-relationship-between-tab... nothing works. I've cleaned, trimmed, UPPER, coalesce, Candidate ID. I created a visual with unique Candidate IDs with the Candidate ID count from Contracts, and it correctly displays 492 Candidate IDs, each with a count of 1. However, from Power Query, using Group By on Candidate ID, I am getting outrageous results. Showing some candidate ID's have up to 10 rows...they do not. PLease help.
