Power BI report tracking
Hi,
We have a report built in power BI and we want to track as how many times and who has accessed/downloaded the report.
Also, we are looking for a way where user can type [a free field where user can type] what is the reason of downloading the power bi report. Is this 'reason to download the report' and how many times reports is used can be made trackable in power bI. Please let me know since without this tracking ,our business is not agreeing to use Power BI. report
Thanks

Hi minaxi,
On the publish dashboards on top of the reports you have the Usage Metrics:
Views per day, per user, per platform, etc.
Regarding the download part I don't have any knowledge you can track this.

Hi minaxi,
You could refer to MFelix's suggestion and you could also refer to using the Audit logs in Power BI Admin Portal.

Hi MFelix
Thanks for your reply.
Do this usage metrics allow us to track usage along with the filter details that has been selected by users while using the report.
Coz, we want to track for what reasons they are looking up the reports. Is there anything that i can create in report and capture in metrics?
Thanks
Meenakshi.
