Advocate IIIt depends on what system you're using to keep track of your HW/SW assets. SCCM is one such solution that helps monitor servers and systems in an IT Infrastructure team. There is a pre-built PowerBI solution template you might want to look at. Here goes: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/solution-templates/sccm/
While this might not be everything you need right off the bat, this might give you some ideas if you end uo building one on your own.
