Power BI report builder - superscript in column title
- Anonymous1 year ago
Hi Pomodoro,
Thank you for the update,The tag can sometimes work in Power BI Report Builder, but it’s not always reliable, especially in header cells or when exporting to formats like PDF. Your workaround of using different font sizes is actually a dependable solution.
If you’d like to refine it even more, here’s a method that should work consistently:
- In the column header cell, insert a Textbox.
- Inside that textbox, type ''STATUS'' with your regular font size (e.g., 9).
- Then add the ''1''5 right after it, but:
- Set the font size smaller (like 5).
- Apply a little top padding or tweak the baseline offset to nudge it upwards and make it look like a superscript.
Basically, you’re manually simulating the superscript, and that gives you full control over how it looks, regardless of export format.

thank you very much for your help Sreeteja.
I tried this solution but unfortunately it didn't work.
Without a proper solution, I will go for a workaround like :
"STATUS " size 9
"1" size 5
