Not sure whether this post should be in Power Automate or PBI forum, but here we go:
I have a Power Automate process imbeded in the PBI report. The process exports the data from the PBI report into an Excel Spreadhseet and then emails the spreadsheet as an attachment. Currently users specified in the automate process will get an email with the attachment. These users are hard wired into the 'Send an Email (V2)' step of the automate process (see image below).
I would like it so that only the user that activates the process will receive the email and the corresponding attachment. I'm guessing there is a dynamic function that could pull the users UPN into the 'To' section of the 'Send an Email (V2)' step of the automate process (see image below)? Though I cant find anything to show this. Any help greatly appreciated.
Hello @v-easonf-msft, unfortunatly this method only allows export to PDF, PowerPoint or PNG. My automate process is all about getting the data into an Excel spreadhsheet, see flow process below. I'm not able to apply the HTTP Request at the start of my flow as Power BI button is the starting method. Any work arounds would be appericated.
Hi, @Anonymous
You can use triggeroutputs( ) function to read CDS trigger metadata attributes.
Please refer to this tutorial for more details.
