Power BI query data when offline or disconnected

Does PowerBI work in offline / disconnected mode i.e. I'm on the train and my internet connection drops and I still want the ability to query the data. This would imply that a dataset gets downloaded with the dashboard. All help greatfully received

Hi @steve_devine,

If your datasource use import model, it can available on offline mode. For "direct query" and "live connection", they not support to use on offline mode.

BTW, power query and refresh feature also not available in offline mode.
