Power BI problem with Sharepoint list
Hi vikramjandoo ,
Changing data type using locale in Power BI is a feature that allows you to specify the format of your data source when you import it into Power BI Desktop. This can help you avoid errors or incorrect conversions when your data source has a different locale than your Power BI Desktop.
For example, if your data source has dates in the format dd/mm/yyyy, but your Power BI Desktop has the locale en-US, which uses mm/dd/yyyy, you can use the change type using locale feature to tell Power BI Desktop to interpret the dates correctly.
To change data type using locale in Power BI Desktop, you can follow these steps:
- In Power Query Editor, select the column or columns that you want to change the data type.
- Right-click on the column header and select Change Type > Using Locale…
- In the Change Type with Locale dialog box, choose the data type and the locale of your data source, and click OK.
