Power BI or Paginated - Custom Subtotals?

All,

Trying to construct a matrix visual that shows values for individual members of a field, with subtotals below the individuals showing groupings of those individual members, plus a total of all members.  Here is an example:

I've done this with other tools (I believe it is called "stacking") and can achieve it in Power BI Desktop by creating individual measures using CALCULATE with filter for the individual members of a group but wondering if there is a better way.  Is the situation any better with Power BI Paginated?

Found this was easier to do (without resorting to inserting blanks and such) in Power BI Paginated....which has spawned other challenges...

@thx1137 , I assume you need additional rows before the total. For that, You need to have values in your dimension of use additional dimension
