Power BI on Ubuntu

We have an Ubuntu server and i want to install the Power BI desktop on the server but i didn't find any download file for that.. can you people help me in this ? Thanks !

    Hi rangineniaditya,

     

    Hi Based on my research, currently it is not possible to install Power BI desktop on Ubuntu. You can install the desktop on a Windows VM to work around. By the way, there is an idea about that, you can vote it up.

I have tried that and running PowerBI as well as other MSoft applications on a VM is annoyingly slow.... when I have tried to do a transformation of data it just keeps spinning the wheel and nothing happens. PowerBI online on the other hand doesn't seem to have power query access.
