I have charts like this:
I know that selecting clustered bar charts will will solve this issue but I prefer stacked bar charts for this specific data. Is there a way to force the yellow labels to show?

Thanks for your help.
I solved the problem. In fact i needed to put label format to 100% (used to be 50%)
Don't know exactly what it means but all i know is that it works ! 🙂
Data lables -> Values -> turn on Text over flow - Hope it works
overflow text only works if there is enough space. and I can't find Label density in 2023 version.
Has anyone found a fix to this?
Visual = Line & Stacked Column chart. This visual is user accepted so needs ot be this vidual only
I'm having the same issue, but only with certain filters on.
Igual tengo el mimo Problema, no encuentro la opcion:
Changing Label Density from 50% to 100% worked for me. I had 2 out of 9 labels randomly missing.
Thank you.
Hi @travbum,
Based on my test in Power BI Desktop version 2.40.4554.463, after enable the Data Labels, data labels will display in all stacked bars within a stacked column chart, see:
In your scenario, please try to update the Power BI desktop to version 2.40.4554.463.
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
Great work mate!
Thanks
@Sean - Looking at your link, the images show columns in a bar chart that don't have values displayed, so perhaps it's not possible: (Music, Movies and Audio column and TV and Video column)
@v-qiuyu-msft - I already have the most updated version.
@travbum@cedboumfrancois Would you please share the .PBIX file for our analysis? Or could you share some sample data for us to reproduce the issue?
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

Hi @travbum,
I guess the property @cedboumfrancois mentioned may be Label Density.
In your scenario, could you share some sample data or .PBIX file to reproduce the issue?
Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
yes exactly !
sorry could not find it.
@v-qiuyu-msft I honestly don't have time to recreate the scenario and can't copy the data due to it being sensitive. If it should come up again in the future I'll try and respond here.
Same for me.
MS please help !
Are you using the October version? It has a lot more options for controlling data labels.
