Power BI not picking Updated SharePoint list changes

I am very new to Sharepoint using as source in Power BI. Our development team working changes like adding new fields and updating names of existing fields in SharePoint list. When I try to bring in all those changes in Power BI I was able to get new fieds added to the list how ever not getting field name changes. (Eg: certain field name is CopyDate and it changed to CategoryDate) but Power BI still read it as CopyDate. We check all properties in SharePoint list and confirm no where the old name referring to but how Power BI still referring to old field names ? I try do clear cache at Power BI but of no luck. Please advise how do we fix this. We have tens of fields like this and we cannot delete and recreate them every time.

Any updates in Sharepoint need to refresh it manually in power bi desktop to get the latest data.

FYI, this doesn't address the issue of the API using internal column names (which don't get updated). Please see the link I provided in this thread for more context.

AlexisOlson, thaks for the link shared. During douple of work arounds we understand while importing sharepoint list we should select Implementation as 2.0 beta and select the display values in the advanced options that picking up all the changes as expected. Not sure if we come through any other challenges when we get in to development. Appreciate for help.
