Power BI matching check

Hello everyone,

I am struggling with something currently.

Explanation:

column ds_request_attribute_id 4495 shows the value I need per ds_request_id. Now I would like to see the ds_request_id's with no value.

The columns above are from table ds_request_attribute_value, but table ds_request (this is like the main table, connected to everything) also has the column ds_request_id. When I used LOOKUPVALUE, it gave the following error: 'A table of multiple values was supplied when a single value was expected'. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? I just want to see the ds_request_id's with no value while using ds_request_attribute_id 4495

Help is really appreciated and thanks in advance!

  • Anonymous it will be easier if you share a screenshot of the data model, what is value?

In this case, value is the expected production and 4495 in column ds_request_attribute_id (table ds_request_attribute_value) shows it.

I hope it is clear now.

  • Hi, Anonymous

Could you please consider sharing more details about it and posting expected result so it is clear on what needs to be implemented?  And It would be great if there is a sample file without any sesentive information here.

It makes it easier to give you a solution.

    1. Sample (dummy dataset) data as text, use the table tool in the editing bar
    2. Expected output from sample data
    3. Explanation in words of how to get from 1. to 2.
