Power BI keeps freezing
Hi Simon_iTOD ,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Fabric Community.
- The freezing of Power BI on your Azure VM is not due to high memory or CPU usage, as those metrics are within their limits.
- The issue could be related to software configurations, virtual machine settings, or network stability. If the freezing occurs while saving a DAX measure, consider simplifying the calculations or optimizing the measures.
- Additionally, limit the number of visuals on the canvas, especially if they rely on large datasets or complex queries. Clear the cache and temporary data, and try transferring the Power BI file to another system (preferably Windows) to determine if the issue is specific to the Azure VM or Power BI itself.
If my response resolved your query, kindly mark it as the Accepted Solution to assist others. Additionally, I would be grateful for a 'Kudos' if you found my response helpful.

Hi. I am having the same trouble. I have limited my data set to a test data set of 25k rows. It might have something to do with the order in which I work? Can I make sure my queries are working individually before I use the query as a base for other queries?
