What are you trying to connect to, a list or a folder of files or? Make sure when it asks for credentials to select the Microsoft account type if it's SharePoint Online (I think iit defaults to anonymous, which won't work).
I am trying to connect a folder. and using the Microsoft account for authentication but its not working. can it be the error of sharepoint that sharepoint is not allowing me to access from other application?
The most common problem people have with this connector is giving it the wrong URL when connecting. It wants a raw site path, not a folder path, then you filter down to the folder. If you want to post the URL you're using with the tenant name removed, that would help troubleshoot. You might also try enabling this setting in the PBI settings:
I've had this fix auth issues with SharePoint previously, but usually it's a different symptom.
Hello @HassanAli123 ,
connecting from power bi to sharepoint from the connector doesn't require a license.
can you try this and see if it works https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-query/connectors/sharepoint-folder
