Power BI in Excel

Am in the process of learning Power BI and am going through the Microsoft Learn paths.  I am having trouble with Excel 2021 showing Power BI as an option.  Have tried Inserting PivotTable but Power BI isn’t showing up.  Also tried the “Get data” option.  Again Power BI is not showing.   Have the Power Map and Power Pivot add-ins enabled but not the Publisher one as it isn’t an option.  Have made sure the most recent updates for Microsoft Office are done.  Any advice with this?

    Hi,

    I think you can import the DAX measures which you have written in PowerBI Desktop into MS Excel only when you publish the PBI Desktop file to the PowerBI service.  Furthermore, i think you need to have a certain subscription type to get data from PowerBI into MS Excel.
