Power BI hangs on start up

I am a new user to Power BI Desktop. I am running windows 10 with the latest updates.

I have installed the 64 bit version of Desktop which appears to install succesfully. When I click on the shortcut PBI hangs on initialising model. I have waited hours.

I have tried a reinstall, restart pc, 32 bit version, install from store and from online, waiting for 3 hours, install older version (december). I cant find any meaningful logs and google doesnt help me.

Nothing seems to work.

Any ideas?
