Power BI formatted Table

Hi Team,

I have an excel sheet in which I have exported Database from sharepoint. Out of that Database I have built a pivot on the same excel sheet.

Now I want to know, how can I bring the Pivot table Data from excel to Power BI. In Power BI I want the data in Table format. The below is the format of pivot in excel .

Hi @mohiniverma2704 ,

You can refer to below.

https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Import-Excel-Pivot-to-PowerBI-Possible/m-p/136743#M58681

Also, if you are importing data from excel, you can tranform the data in power query (like removing first line etc.) and extract the pivot as table format in Power BI.

Hope this help.

Hi @mohiniverma2704

You should directly connect to the data source with Power BI. What is the reason that you create a pivot table in excel based on a data source to load it afterwards to Power BI?

You can do all the stuff also in Power BI after directly loading the data from the source without using excel in-between.

Best regards
Michael
