Power BI for education

Hello, very new to Power BI
I'm a teacher. Can I use Power BI to create a report for each student in a class. We currently use excel for the data, can each student / row be selected to create a nice visual report on progress, grades, attendance, scores etc.

Can each report then be easily shared via email or Teams

Finally, is there the option for the students to then leave written comments on their Power BI generated report, making a feedback loop?? Maybe this one won't work.

I am hopeful someone can help so my 4.5 hour intro to Power BI training wasn't a waste of time!

Thanks in advance

Mike

PBI Desktop meets all of your requirements easily. Another thing is that at least other 300 hours are to be investigated into it if you want a firm grasp of this fantastic tool.

Thanks to the great efforts by MS engineers to simplify syntax of DAX! Most beginners are SUCCESSFULLY MISLED to think that they could easily master DAX; but it turns out that the intricacy of the most frequently used RANKX() is still way beyond their comprehension!

DAX is simple, but NOT EASY!

Thanks, fancy telling me the name of the function that does it, just so I can direct my next 300 hours effectively!

Fundamentally, PBI consists of 2 major modules, Power Query for data ETL (Extraction-Transformation-Load) with M language and DAX for data analysis/visulization. Like all other Microsoft products, taking the most classic Excel for example, PBI is easy to start up with but a long way to master. There are quite many learning rescources available on the Internet.
