I'm trying to join two tables and none of them has any duplicate values. Power BI keeps bringing error saying incorrect join as it detects many-to-many relationship. Anyone had this error?
Thanks.
Hi @IS_MN,
Could you please disable the option Autodetect new relationships after data is loaded and import the data again?
Regards,
Frank
Hi @IS_MN,
Does that make sense? If so, kindly mark my answer as a solution to close the case.

Frank
Hi Frank,
Thanks for your reply. I already tried that path and yet had the same issue.
Thanks,
Ishret
Hi @IS_MN
There can be issues with creating relationships in power bi even your values are uniqe but still the data source is having some row with null value.
You can see the below video and give it a try. I hope this helps to resolve your issue.
If this helped you, please mark this post as an accepted solution and like to give KUDOS .
Regards,
Affan
Hi Affan,
Thanks for your message and suggestion. However, I've already removed nulls from the table and still got the error. Should've mentioned it in my original post I suppose.
Thanks,
Ishret
Due to data privacy, I'm unable to share the pbix - sorry!

Hi Ishret,
Have you found a solution for this issue? I have met the same.
The dimention table is applied with steps of revoming duplicates, removing empty and even grouping. But Powerbi still claims that the DIM table will introduce many to many relationship...

Iris
