Hi,
I wanted to add a YearMonth slicer in my report which will show the data till the Previous month only. And by default, all these YearMonths should be selected. To show the values till the Previous month, I have included a Page level filter for Relative date to include the last Calendar days only as seen in the screenshot below.
Now,according to our requirement, ideally, once the current month (July) ends, the YearMonth slicer should automatically show "2023/07" (July) and keep it selected. But I am not sure if this will happen or not. Can anybody help me providing a confirmation that this work the same way as I am expecting?
Regards,
Nisha

So, in the dropdown slicer visual also it should automatically appear as "Selected" right?
In the dropdown slicer that you displayed in your screenshot, you are going to have 2023/07 provided you have that month in your date table or generally in the table feeding that slicer.
However, you cannot keep it selected, for that you need to have a general description like "Current Month" so it stays selected from month to month irrespective which month it is. If your requirement to have " select all " like you have in the screenshot then yes, it will also be selected.

Hi, when you choose the relative date slicer, this will be adjusted automatically, you will have the range from 8/1/2013-7/31/2023.
