Power BI desktop version compatibility issues

Hello Power BI Gurus,

 

I have bunch of reports developed using Power BI desktop 2.41.4581.361 64-bit, my team is unable to open these reports on their computer which is running Power BI desktop 2.38.4491.642 64-bit. 

 

I am surprised to see compatibility issues between product versions that were released 3 months apart. Is there a workaround for this. Does it help if my team updates their computers to latest version which could be different from 2.41?

 

Apprecaite any help.

    The software is in constant development.  There is an easy fix - upgrade all machines to the same version.
