Power BI desktop on Azure
Hi,
I'm working with Mac and I know it's not possible to run BI Desktop on Mac, but what's the best way to do this? Running a VM on Azure, Amazon,....
I'm running Parallels with W7 on my Mac and Installed the BI desktop.msi, but I get the message "Cannot load model". So I'm looking for alternatives. I Cannot upgrade to W10, because of other applications.
I'm not really a developper a technician, but I would like to explore Power BI by setting this up myself.

You could install and run Power BI on a Virtual Machine, then remote in to that Virtual Machine.

AWS: https://aws.amazon.com/getting-started/tutorials/launch-windows-vm/
Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac
You could also set-up a Windows PC, install and run Power BI on that PC,
then install MS Remote Desktop to give people access to that PC and use Power BI from their Macs.
