Power BI desktop issue (calendar)
- Anonymous4 years ago
Hi mateszenci
There is a possibility that your Max date is last year, so when the new year starts, this error will be returned. Maybe you can change your computer time to 2021,then open the pbix file to change the formula.
In addition, CALENDARAUTO() searches among all the dates in the data model and automatically finds the first and last year referenced within the model. CALENDAR() returns a table with a single column named "Date" that contains a contiguous set of dates. The range of dates is from the specified start date to the specified end date, inclusive of those two dates. Using CALENDAR() instead of CALENDARAUTO() will help you create tables better

mateszenci looks like something to do with the calendar table, maybe date format, etc, it is working in service because maybe the format is ok. Do you happen to remember what is DAX expression is for your calendar dimension/table?

parry2k i usually use this format but in this case i extended it with MIN and MAX by the sales table. Unfortunetly i didn't have the DAX in this case.
Calendar = ADDCOLUMNS(CALENDARAUTO(),
"Month", FORMAT([Date], "mmmm"),
"Year" ,FORMAT([Date], "yyyy"),
"Quarter",FORMAT([Date], "“\QQ" ),
"Month Number", MONTH([Date]))
