Hi,
I have a technical question I hope you can help me with.
I recently joined the company and started building some Power BI reports. As part of this, I created a few dataflows with computed tables. From my understanding, computed tables consolidate data from linked tables. When I set them up, I received a message that premium capacity is required for refresh.
While the approval for premium capacity is still in progress, I tried connecting to these computed tables, but the result was blank tables. Could you please confirm whether, once premium capacity is enabled, I should be able to access and refresh these dataflow tables as expected?
This is my first time encountering this scenario, so I would appreciate your confirmation.
Thank you,

Hi @annatan
I wanted to check if you’ve had a chance to review the information provided. If you have any further questions, please let us know. Has your issue been resolved? If not, please share more details so we can assist you further.
Without Premium capacity, computed tables in dataflows show up as blank because they can’t refresh. Once Premium is enabled, those tables will refresh properly and display data in Power BI Desktop as expected.
I hope it will do after I gain my premium capacity access. Thanks,
Hi @annatan
Thank you @Royel and @Shahid12523 for sharing helpful insights.
Were you able to try accessing the computed tables after your Premium capacity was enabled? If the issue still persists, please share more details so that we can assist you further.

Microsoft Fabric Community Support Team.
Hi @annatan Yes you're correct. Computed tables in dataflows require Premium capacity to refresh and work properly. When you create computed tables without Premium capacity, they will appear blank when connecting from Power BI Desktop because they cannot refresh or load data.
