Power BI crashes during start

Hi,

when i start Power BI (with shortcut, not by clicking an existing report, newest version), the starting screen appears.

Then the main task consumes more and more RAM until Power BI crashes (32 bit) or the whole PC crashes (64 Bit).

I also reset the plattform of the windows defender, but it does not work.

Did anybody have the same problem?

Any hints appreciated.

Hi @AndyR123 ,

Please select the version that is compatible with the computer operating system.

If you can, try to install 64 bit pbi desktop.

Otherwise, make the most of the virtual memory on the computer you are using.

If you can't increase the virtual memory, Please add external SSD, which was set as virtual use only.

@AndyR123 , Any reason to install 32 bit on 64 bit Windows. Uninstall, Clear temp folder and install again
