Power BI - cannot connect to the data model

Hi,

 

I'm running a 32bit Windows and downloaded the new update on Power BI Desktop today (32bit version).

 

I've not been able to open Power BI since and have the below error message:

 

Any help would be appreciated as I have a critital piece of work to deliver.

    Hi Anonymous

    First, please check versions of your windows and power bi desktop

    Settings->system->about->”system type : ****”

    download power bi desktop from this page,

         version :2.65.5313.841 (2019/1/2), 

         File Name: PBIDesktop.msi

     

    Second, do you install a on-premises gateway?

    if so, please refer to this article and find solutions for your scanario.

     

    Third, please try:

    turn off antivirus,

    uninstall 32 bit power bi desktop

    clean system cache

    reinstall 32 bit power bi desktop

     

    If my suggestion doesn't help you, for solving your problem more quickly, 

    you can submit a support incident to Power BI support (https://support.powerbi.com) to help identify and solve your issue.
