Power BI and Azure Analysis Services perspectives

Hi Guys

I've created several perspectives in Azure Analysis Services project.

Is there any way to select a perspective when connecting from Power BI to AAS?

Looks like it connects to a default perspective without giving a choice.

Regards,

Max

    hi, maxsnow

When you use Connect live to connect to AAS, you can only select the whole model, when you choose import,

you can select tables by yourself.

This seemed to be working now.

If you use Live connect, don't enter the database name, on the next screen you'll get an option to connect to a specific perspective.

      Hi v-lili6-msft
when importing data from AAS and you have the perspective and a set of tables to select your columns from.  After selecting your columns can you filter the data by a specific value in a column and then import the data?  This is to reduce the qunatity of data transfer to the power bi otherwise the AAS runs out of memory due to the volume. e.g i need only 2million records to import to power bin stead of the available 10 million rows for the multi-table column selection

      Thanks
