Power BI added numerous blank rows

Hello,

I imported an excel table with my data. For some reason, Power BI added an absurd amount of empty blank cells above my data set. When I go to Edit Queries, my data set looks normal with no additional unnecessary cells.

1. Why did this occur?

2. How do I solve the issue?

Thanks!

Anonymous  it looks like your visual is sorted and yu have an empty rowsin data source.

to fix it go to the Power Query Editor mode, choose your table, in Home ribbon select Remove Rows -> Remove Blank Rows

Looking at the data set... Empty blank cells that were included.

      Top of the data set

Scrolled down to row 1,000,000+... Found my data.

Scrolling down to row 1,0487,654... Data set is found

Opened the the Edit Queries... Everything looks normal.

      Editing query
