Power BI add-in to PowerPoint
In March 2024 Power BI introduced the new Public Snapshot feature at which time the Show as Saved image option stopped working however the new feature produces very blurry images (worse than previous Show As Saved Image),
subsequently the Show as Saved Image began working again however this has not stopped working, again and I'm left with the blurry images when using the Public Snapshot.
This is really poor and inconsistent functionality and renders the software as unstable and worse still erodes user confidence.
Is it intentional that the Showed As Saved Image has stopped working and if so can it be turned back on?

you can report this as an issue in the issue section and microsoft support will check it and report it to the production team to be solved.

Hi,
I note the same problem. After changing Live view to Public Snapshot the image quality is significantly worse. Did you report that?I reported this issue over a year ago and nothing has changed, it's one of the frustrations I have with Power BI that changes are made that impact it's functionality and it makes it quite unstable to use

I added new ideas to improve quality of snapshot. Please vote for this idea
