Power BI Versions
Hello Community,
I noticed that if, I install previous PBI desktop Version from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/fundamentals/desktop-latest-update-archive?tabs=powerbi-desktop ,my PBI Desktop version number is not the same as the version number annouced on the web site.
For example, I downwloaded and installed the 2023 Septembre X64 version (2.121.644.0) .... but If I check the PBI Desktop on my computer after installation.... this is the 2.121.903.0 version number !
Why version number is different?

You probably downloaded it through the Microsoft Store in the link, and it will automatically update to the latest version through the Store. Please select the link below to install the previous version.It doesn't make any jumps and downloads directly.

If the version has a minor patch, it might automatically updated. Alternatively, download from Start Menu --> Microsoft Store --> Power BI Desktop
