I updated Power BI two days ago. Now I’ve opened a dashboard that I created with an earlier version of Power BI back in 2023. I’d like to know whether this could cause any issues, or if all measures, filters, etc. will be carried over without any problems?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Yes, Everything will work without any issues. You may face few issues related to custom visualsor themes which can be handled but there won't be any issues with measures or calculated columns.

Hi @knut12212 ,
Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Fabric Community.
Just checking in to see if everything is working fine after opening the report in the updated version of Power BI Desktop. If you are still seeing any issues with the visuals or layout, share bit more details and we can assist further.
Thank you.
