Power BI Theme File for the Guage
Hi,
I have been trying to create a theme file for a Gauge Visual.
The Colours I need are as below
FILL: - #08FF08 - Vibrant, Vivid Green Color
TARGET: - #FFA400 - Vivid Orange
TARGET VALUES: - #024002 - Olive Green
CALLOUT VALUES: - #FA0000 - Red
I am unable to get the FILL colour into the THEME file. Have also tried to have the below in the theme file to no AVAIL
- firstLevelElements
- secondLevelElements
- thirdLevelElements
- fourthLevelElements
- secondaryBackground
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated

1) Please check the report theme JSON using a different .PBIX file to determine and isolate whether the issue is related to the current PBIX or to the JSON itself.
2) Please try applying the same report theme JSON to a different visualization to see whether the issue is specific to the Gauge visual or related to the report theme JSON itself.
3) Can you please confirm if you are using the latest version of the Power BI Desktop.

1) Reset Visual Formatting Overrides: This step involves resetting visual formatting overrides. Manually applied colours within the Gauge visual can override those defined in your theme, preventing your custom colours from appearing as expected. To resolve this, click on the Gauge visual, navigate to the Format Pane, then to the Visual section, and select Revert to default. This action clears any locally applied formatting and allows the theme-defined styles to take effect properly.
2) Ensure JSON Syntax Is Valid: A malformed JSON file can silently fail without providing clear error messages in Power BI, leading to theme settings not being applied correctly.
Additionally, ensure that all colour codes are proper hex values (for example, #08FF08) and are enclosed in quotation marks as strings.
3) Use the Latest Version of Power BI Desktop: Ensure you are using the latest version of Power BI Desktop, as theme functionality is often improved or updated in newer releases. Older versions may not recognize certain theme properties or apply them correctly. You can download the latest version directly from the official Power BI website. My JSON is well formed and there are no issues with the JSON, else i would get an error and the other Visual and font will not be displayed correctly, which they display as intended. Its only the the FILL colour in the GAUGE.
I did reset all the visuals and still its only the FILL in the Gauge that does not work
