Power BI Template for Income Statement and Job Costing

We are a real estate management and development firm and are looking for any templates for how to take our P&L budget and actual data from Great Planes Dynamics or Excel and use in a monthly variance dashboard in Power BI. Also trying to find any templates or a vendor that can help with pulling and analyzing data from the job cost module of Dynamics. Any help very appreciative.

    Hi tchapman31,

     

    After a few research, I found this article in which there is a template that you can download into your Power BI Desktop instance, connect to your Dynamics GP data with a SQL ODBC connection, to create a basic dashboard.

     

    In addition, here is an idea about requesting Dynamics GP content pack shared in Power BI Ideas forum. You can vote it up and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make the content pack for Dynamics GP come sooner. :smileyhappy:
