Power BI Table visual - show same column with different format

In a table visual, I would like to display same column (Amount) two times, one showing the number with header, another showing the databar, without header.

This is what I want to get for Table visual.

However,  when I list the measure Amount twice as Values of the table and rename one of them, another header is also get changed automatically.  Samething happen when I do the header formatting, field formatting and field conditional formatting.

Can anyone show me the workaround? Thanks in advance.

  • MikeKKK , First add amount measure in values. Double click on amount measure in values (visual pane values) or right click rename. Rename it. Drag the amount again and try

It does not work. After renaming the measure in visual pane values, when I drag the measure "Amount" again to the visual, it is automatically renamed.

My workaround is to create another measure which is same as "Amount", and it works perfectly, I can have different formatting for this measure. But this is not the optimal solution as I have two identical measures.

    Hello MikeKKK

If you could send sample .pbix that demonstrate what you are looking to get. It would really help providing you a quick solution.

You can send the sample .pbix file by adding it to your drive or dropbox and add the link here.

    Hi MikeKKK,

Yes, I can reproduce these. It seems like the same fields only keep the one configuration if you put them at the same visual. I'd like to suggest you can submit an idea for keeping different configurations on the same table field.
