Power BI Table Relationship

Hi all!

I need to create a visual table object in Power BI with fields from these tables: tags, tags_classes, purchase_order, companies, models, and companies 2, which is the reference of companies and spare_parts.

The table gives an error when I insert the spare_parts field.

How can I avoid this error? Keep in mind that spare_parts is connected to tags through the spare_parts_models table. Perhaps that’s causing the issue.

How can I solve this, considering the relationships I have? It's important for me!

Thanks!

  • Can you show the error you get?
Can you try to use an aggregration for spar_parts field, like first or last ?

If it solved your issue, can you post a screenshot of your current data model, it will easier to visualise the issue

  • What's the error? circular reference? Ambiguous path ?

The error I received when I insert spart_parte field in the table is

In reality, the relationships exist, but they are indirect. I’ve sent you a screenshot of all the relationships I have.
      Thanks

you can either trace the data model to see if it needs changing, or use a measure in the values area if you are aiming for a cross join.
