Power BI : Switch from Import to Live (DirectQuery) Connection Issue
Hi Anonymous
Does this error occur when the table name change after changing import to directquery?
Based on my knowledge, when you create visuals using columns or measures, if in directquery or live mode, it would send queries to the data source and return results from it. Thus, when the table name changes, it would not match the columns and get the correct results.

Hi v-juanli-msft,
Thanks for your reply!
No, Table name got changed in Database when I was connected through 'Import' only. All reports I created using 'Import' and even published on Power BI server. When Table names got changed, I used 'Navigation' option from 'Edit Query' and Navigated from old table names to new tables. After that I was trying to switch from 'Import' to 'Direcquery' and because in that case I beleive, power BI found only new tables. and all my field were refering to 'Old table' names. What can be done in this situation? Do I need to create whole report again with 'Direcquery' option?
Thanks!
