    you can uninstall and reinstall again the Power BI desktop application. Hope it works

Thanks, do I have to uninstall the Power BI Desktop first before the download of the new one?

    Hello,

    Unfortunately I am experiencing this same issue. I have uninstalled and re-installed Power BI (multiple times!) to the latest version (July 2025) but still the standard Narrative visual selection is only appearing in the visual pane and Smart Narrative is not.

    Any idea's please?
