    you can uninstall and reinstall again the Power BI desktop application. Hope it works

Hi Apple08 - Yes, Narrative is a default chart, consider reinstalling Power BI Desktop to ensure a fresh installation resolves any installation errors that may be preventing the feature from showing.

I hope by reinstalling the software it should visible in your visual pane.

      Hello,

      Unfortunately I am experiencing this same issue. I have uninstalled and re-installed Power BI (multiple times!) to the latest version (July 2025) but still the standard Narrative visual selection is only appearing in the visual pane and Smart Narrative is not.

      Any idea's please?
