Power BI Service Parameters greyed out in Service

Hello All,

I need some help in figuring why Power BI parameters are greyed out in Service all of a sudden? I own the data sets and I have admin access in development workspace, until last week I was able to update the parameters in Dev workspace and I tried updating the parameters for one of my web connector source from share point adding ctid (tenant id)  since many of the users where not able to access the link . But now no matter if I use with / without the tenant id, my parameters got greyed out and not able to enable them in Power BI service.  Also my parameter type is "TEXT"

Does anyone have faced it earlier and any solution will be helpful.

My data sources are Azure and Share point and I dont have gateway deployed in lower environments. But I have gateway deployed in higher environments where am able to enable the parameters in workspace.

In that case, implementing gateways in lower environments is the solution? But how did it worked until last week and not this week?

Thanks in advance

I figured out this issue as Power BI takes its own time to refresh the dashboards in workspace and only after the refresh with updated credentials, parameters gets enabled to be updated in workspace.

@amitchandak thanks for the reply. yes I am the owner of the dataset and am able to take it over.

These days we are using Cloud Gateway connection by default in Gateway, check if that is needed

I see the gateway connection is disabled by default since its Dev

@AarthySivaramak , I am assuming this is in the Power BI Service Semantic Model setting. Make sure you own the Semantic Model, and you do not see the "Take Over" button in teal color. If that is the Teal color, it means you need to take it over.

Make sure all source connection are valid and working.
