Power BI Service - Dynamic datasource with variabel parameter (Odata connection)

Hi,

I need some help setting up a dynamic data source in Power BI.

For each 'Division' the users puts in the parameter (delimited by ',') an odata connection has to be made.

Following code works in Power BI Desktop:

let

Source = Text.Split(Division,","),
#"Converted to Table" = Table.FromList(Source, Splitter.SplitByNothing(), null, null, ExtraValues.Error),
#"Renamed Columns" = Table.RenameColumns(#"Converted to Table",{{"Column1", "Division"}}),
#"AddedCustom" = Table.AddColumn(#"Renamed Columns", "Result", each OData.Feed("https://bridge-online.cloud/exact-online/odata4/E... eq " & [Division], null, [Implementation="2.0", ODataVersion=4, OmitValues=ODataOmitValues.Nulls, Headers=[Referer = "enter-your-chosen-id-for-the-source" ], Timeout=#duration(0,4,0,0)]))

in

#"AddedCustom"

But when I want to schedule refresh in the Power BI Service, I get following error:

"This dataset includes a dynamic data source. Since dynamic data sources aren't refreshed in the Power BI service, this dataset won't be refreshed. Learn more: https://aka.ms/dynamic-data-sources."

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

OD

Hi!

Thanks for your reply.

They all refer to [RelativePath = ] as a fix but sadly Odata doesn't support RelativePath as far as I know.

I've tried but failed.

If there are any other solution, let me know!

Kind regards,

OD
