Power BI Reporting Server Preview

 

I have installed the Preview version of PowerBI reporting Server.  The question  I have

 

Why its not allowing to load PBIX files with SQL server connections, It seems the Preview allow only Live Analysis or Azure Services !!

    As stated from this article:

     

    Currently, the only data source supported for Power BI reports are a live connection to Analysis Services (tabular or multidimensional). More data sources will be added in future releases.

      Do we already have an idea of the other data sources that will be available on the Power BI reporting server ?

        You can see from here:

         

        Currently, the only data source supported for Power BI reports are a live connection to Analysis Services (tabular or multidimensional). More data sources will be added in future releases.

        I think PG team will plan this. You can submit in Ideas forum about which data source you want in Power BI report server.
