Hi,
Does anyone have a sample Power BI Report Functional Specification document that they can share.
If any one has an example of a Power BI Report handover document that will be useful as well.
Thanks in advance
KInd Regards
Ramdas
We did manually document purpose of report, and business logic, as well as information from automated report about the Dax,M scripts, Server, database, tables used.
try this one on GitHub, it work really good.

hi @ramdasp
There is no Specification document for it, This is often very diverse for different customers.
You could custom a handover document as Tahreem24 said.

Hi @ramdasp
I'm not sure what exactly you are interesting in, but have a look at whitepapers https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/guidance/whitepapers
Thx for your quick response, az38
That link is related to Power BI as a product.
What I want is a document that can be used to note down the functional requirements that the business has for their Power BI dashboards. This document can then be used by the test team to test the Power BI reports. I would also like a sample of a hand over document after the Power BI Report is built.
Kind Regards
Ramdas
Ramdas,
As of now no proper document available at community side. But get some idea on what are the topics to be included in that document.
